More facts about the Cres Fringe Festival
So many performances are not included at other festivals, as they get told that they are too specific, too much, or too less. We believe bringing different kinds of art and performance together, can make a deep impact on the artists and the audience.

Creating a safe space to open people's minds, and for artists and performers to share their art, knowledge and beliefs. But also to inspire each other, start creating new projects and tour together. Furthermore, we want to work on more different productions with our partners. We host our productions, producers, and directors of other international festivals and other productions from Europe, but also from all over the world. Here our artists have the opportunity to connect, be seen, be heard, create new collaborations and get booked, to have cooperation opportunities for festivals and other productions to work across borders on the topic of emerging artists and establishing new collaborations and lasting relationships, and achieve their professional goals.
With the workshop program, we support artists in developing their skills and knowledge about important topics in the world. Just to name some: These are human rights, mental health, working with people who deal with invisible diseases and disabilities, the fight against climate change, gender/diversity, Inclusion, and mental health. And of course also dance, acting, Movement, artists talks, cultural excgange and body-positivity.

Our partners bring different types of art and knowledge to us. They teach through workshops, performances and interactions with the environment. And at the same time, it shares awareness of important issues that concern us all. As a lot of them share the same values, means, that there is always an opportunity to go into an exchange, in person, but also online.
As we have an international cast of artists, Petrovicers, theatre directors and producers, new collaborations can grow. Artists can visit each other, work on long-term projects, perform at different places cross borders, and also promote their partners' projects and art as well. This results in an intercultural exchange and cross-sectoral collaborations.
As a neurodivergent producer, living and working with a chronic disease and invisible disability, we are here to support others with the same issues, but also teach people and producers, good ways to include all these performers in their work. As all of us brings different skills, where we can support, but also create wonderful work together.
Open minds create strong partnerships - move the world into a better time.

On the island we have our own water resort, what is delicious tap water, what comes from a nature resort lake called Vransko Jezero. So we recommend to everyone to have their water bottles refilled, to reduce the waste of plastic bottles.
The majority of our outdoor venues are easily accessible, as they are even terraces. That makes it also for disabled people easier to join the presentations.

Thinking out of the box.
In the end, we all want to be seen, and recognized, and spread the word that art is important, but also fighting for rights and values. Also shows that a neurodivergent person, with an invisible disability, can create such a beautiful festival, and empower others to find their power, too.
Together we can move the world.
