We are super proud to invite YOU to apply to the 4th annual Cres Fringe Festival in Croatia!!

The Festival will collaborate again with the European Burlesque and Variety Congress, and we can't wait to welcome you to our wonderful island.

Dates and application information:
The festival will occur in Cres from the 12. - 18.05.2024.
Where: various venues on the beautiful island of Cres
The application period is from the 15th of October2024 till the 5th of January 2024, 00:00 European time.
We will reply to all applicants between the 10th of January ~ and the 10th of February 2025. (We aim to respond to everybody. It may not be on the same day, but everyone will receive a response during the time above.)
Announcements will be made around the 15th of February 2025.

Please read all the information carefully, as most questions are answered in the following information, along with how to fill in the application.

What we are looking for:
- Fringe artists

- Circus and other artistic
- Street events' performer
- You have something special, not listed, we want to hear your idea.

 

->  We are also looking for child-friendly performances. If you have some of these, you can add the information after the fields of Act 3.
 

-> Performers / Show Guides:   - Artists/performers will be directed to shows.

 

->   Ready shows/solo performers/musicians and producers: - Putting on a show - Making your show accessible - Artist development (artists/performers can be also directed to your show if you wish) - Doing an online event - Marketing your show - Send us your Headers and poster for Social media. - You're responsible for your hosting and your music. So be aware to bring your Laptop or hire someone who can support you. - You will be guided to a suitable venue to your show.

 

Music tracks of perfomers/troupes/artists/musicians..
You will be asked to upload your music to a drive folder, but performers please bring your music files also on a stick to the festival. If we don't have your music untill the deadline, we can not guarantee your slot to perform.

 

Information:

!!! Please note, that we never give any of your information to a third party. Also, you don't get any kind of mailings. Except, you ask for. The information we ask is strictly for us.

 

Each performer, producer, artist, ... is responsible for the own travel and accommodation. (The CFF will give you information to special deals for accommodation, and information about travel, are on the website. And will also be posted on a special CFF facebook Performers group).

Performers: If you have postcards or flyers of you or your business, please give them to us, and we will place them out for you on the promotable.

 

The CFF Will post all news, shows and the program on the website and hang it on the city  informationboard.

 

Artist/performer fees: 
The fee is a door/donation split to all attendands of a presentation. The split is paid each evening after the presentations.

Other fees:
- The application is free. If you wish to donate something to your application you can do it per PayPal to: productions@celestedemoriae.com
- If you're choosen to present your art/performance, we will charge a fee of 35,- EUR for the organisation. This is a one time fee for the whole festival.
Additional/optional fees:
- If you need additional equipment (light, speakers, ..) we will send you the fee information, that is additional.
- There is an opportunity to rent a historical venue, this will be 270,- EUR per day.
- We offer tech support and helping hands for your presentations.
The tech support/ DJing per presentation is 30,- EUR.
Stage manager per presentation, 20,- EUR.
Helping hands, per person 10,- EUR.

Any other support:
Please let us know if you need support or want us to know anything else, from accessibility to general questions and concerns. Also, we want to inform you that the venues are mostly outdoors. At a few venues is a ticket charge possible, so the most is on donation/tips. 
However, please get in touch with us, and we will do everything we can to make it comfortable for you.

 

Conduct:
Be aware that we will not tolerate any problematic acts or behaviour. This is a safe space where we will not accept any hate, racist behaviour, or similar will not be tolerated.
We also reserve the right not to allow performers to perform who are drunk, disorderly, or under the influence of drugs or any other substances. The festival reserves the right to exclude these performers from the festival if necessary.
